CHICK N BRISK
Chick N Brisk is a Southern BBQ restaurant located in Downtown Augusta, Georgia on Broad Street cooking only chicken and beef. The brand features warm, rustic colors that evoke a classic barn aesthetic and is known for its rebellious, sarcastic humor about pigs, reinforcing its identity as a restaurant that proudly refuses to cook pork. The menu intentionally excludes pork to accommodate dietary preferences and cultural backgrounds. Its slogan, "Moo Flavor. Bawk Less, Eat More.", emphasizes the restaurant's commitment to bold flavors and delicious Southern barbecue. The two mascots, Clucky (a male chicken) and Briskette (a female cow) help bring the brand to life, giving Chick N Brisk a fun and memorable personality.
The brand’s logo features a used chopping board with knife marks, serving as the background for the wordmark while the two animal mascots peek over the top. The chosen font creates a warm, rustic feel commonly associated with BBQ restaurants. The mascots and icon pattern were hand-drawn in Adobe Fresco, while the remaining logo elements, including the cow horns on the “I,” were designed in Affinity Designer. The Instagram phone ad was created in Canva to resemble a real social media post. From the to-go boxes to the menu, all branding assets were designed in Affinity Designer and presented through mockups.
